Pay it Forwrd

Today I have had the opportunity and the challenge to be compassionate and grateful.  I got to pass on to another mother some stability and strength that has been passed on to me from so many others.  I could tell she was at her end and needed some other arms to hold her for a moment.  I bought her and her daughter dinner (they were vegetarians), checked in with them regularly, made sure that social worker got to talk to her, and whatever else I could do.

I don't normally go to this extent but something about her just compelled me. She cracked a hold in my shields.  Her daughter was amazing: articulate, polite, compassionate, eager to help and be responsible. I saw a LOT of Amazon in her.

I think I will do a small ritual to help this women and her family tonight.
